My friend and I have dicussed the meaning of this song. He and I both came to the same conclusion. THIS IS ABOUT A PERSON WHO IS TIRED OF GIVING HIS LOVE WHEN HE KNOWS IT COULD BE DENIED. HE IS TIRED OF SEEING EVERONE ELSE HAPPY AND HE WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING REAL. HE WOULD LIKE TO FIND THE SAME PEACE AS EVERYONE ELSE. HE WANTS TO FIND SOMETHING REAL. AND IF THIS PERSON DOESNT LOVE HIM THEN THAT PERSON NEEDS TO BE HONEST AND LET HIM GO.
