this is about a guy and a girl. Deeply in love. Something happens and the guy has to leave and live apart. and the girl started dated someone else. Then the first guy comes back and started seeing the girl again while the girl still in the current relationship. The girl still deeply in love with the first guy, cheating with the first one, while still with the current boyfriend, and she cant make make a decision of what to do so she stays idle and dates the current one and cheats with the first one. this goes for years. THIS IS THE STORY BEFORE THE SONGS STARTS. And the hardest part Was letting go, not taking part Was the hardest part ( then the guy thinks he has to make the stand and do something, an open the eyes of everyone, and do something, knowing it will be the best for everyone especially for the girl, even though it will break his heart)( he is aslo thinking of the future, this thing will put people to face things and make decisions, and she might stay with the current one or come back to him, maybe not now but later on)( but he also knows that by taking the stand she might hate him, but its something he has to do even though he will be the villain of the story. so he might not be part of it, coz first first the girl has to face the current boyfriend and talk and work it out coz of comittment with the current one, so he has to stay out for a while, not hearing anything for a long time, maybe forever) And the strangest thing Was waiting for that bell to ring It was the strangest start ( and then he had to wait for the reactions when ppl know ehat he did, the bell ringing, and starting a new story) I could feel it go down Bittersweet, I could taste in my mouth Silver lining the cloud Oh and I I wish that I could work it out ( and of course the reaction its gonna be bittersweet after, but that's the only way for a solution, there is no other way to work it out nicely.) And the hardest part Was letting go, not taking part You really broke my heart ( and he stilll sings about letting her go and not being part of her anymore, coz before at least they were part of each other by cheating. And he says the everything is wring[cheating], and everything he did during that time to get her back, goes somewhere that makes he belive he did it but then it all goes undane, and thats why he did the bold move, and now everything is torn apart. And that what he did and the results of that its the hardes part for him, It broke his hart, and he tells her that you made me do this and you broka my heart.) |

Just Asking Everyone? Isn't this song maybe about 2 people, the guy and the girl(the singers), singing to each other. First the guy sings: Please don't say we're done When I'm not finished I could give so much more Make you feel, like never before Welcome, they said welcome to the floor (this is the first moment when they break up, apparently the girl decides so, but the guy doesn't aggree and believes to have much more to give) (then after sometime) the girl sings: It's been a while And you've found someone better But I've been waiting too long to give this up The more I see, I understand But sometimes, I still need you (now after sometime the guy found someone else, and the girl, who was always unsure, needs him, maybe jealousy triggered it.)(Even though the third line seams inconsistent and makes it hard to follow this concept) the girl sings again: And I was struggling to get in Left waiting outside your door I was sure You'd give me more (now the girl looking for the guy, chasing him, and now she is sure that he was right and he could give more) then the guy sings: No need to come to me When I can make it all the way to you You made it clear You weren't near Near enough for me (no need to come to me, obviously its too late, and he says i can come all the way too you if i wanted too again, but your coldness and actions pushed me away long time ago and now its too late) then they both sing: Heart skipped a beat And when I caught it you were out of reach But I'm sure, I'm sure You've heard it before (both know that timing killed everything, they started together, then she wasn't sure, and her action and coldness pushed the guy away, and now that she wants him, he doesn't want her anymore) |
