The chords and the intro give me that feeling of being left behind... It's like life has finally taken it's toll.. You take a look at all your sins and pain and you relize the end is near cause you may have or the end is being given to you...No matter what you've tried or done people can't seem to be pleased and it kills you. So you allow yourself to slowly fade away cause your cold and broken...Then the one person that does or some what understands you...you leave them behind or turn your back on them cause you rather not put them through the pain and misery your mind goes through every second of the day.... Breaking Benjamin's writing just seems to get deeper as time goes on. Awesome.....can't wait fot the album after this one if thats the case!!! |

This song is honestly my theme song for my senior year....I love it ..... I think the girl in this song is honestly in love with the guy....The reason he hasn't been sober for days is because he misses her so much....She is truly the other half of his life that makes it worth living..But seeing how she's been gone for days he's empty...This couple is really in love...but she's not sure she can commit to this one guy so early in life.....He is ready cause he's found his calling in life by being with her..The reason she leaves is she doesn't want to hurt him by cheating on him or not being able to care for him as much as he cares for her...He wants to call her bluff because he knows he's the only one who could love her the way he does..Care for her, watch over her and never hurt for or even use her....The neighbors are in hint i think (there friends) tell him that she moved away without telling him.....I think it's called remembering sunday cause that's the last day he saw her....he falls to his kness cause life will never be the same without her....Him going home in the end is the true ending to it.....Cause he's going home alone....but you don't know if she'll ever return.... Honestly Aaron Lewis is one of the best song writters of all time.....=) okay first..I can see how people relate it to being on tour and being away from his wife. Long rides away from home not laying next to the one he loves or seeing her would kill anyones soul and heart.... But another meaning comes to mind that maybe when he says "road" it means his life..He's married to her yet he can't change the way he lives or the way he is for anyone...Maybe he hurt her and he misses her but he can't change the way he is cause that's just his life....His life maybe so painfull to live that her watching him live it pushes her away....But he needs her cause she is what keeps him saine in life..She is his safe place and he doesn't want to let the best thing thats ever happened in his life fade away....=)pure awesomeness!!! |

Many times in life people close to you expect or even TAKE to much from your heart and soul...This song i think is the perfect example that (ben) has given all he has and is trying his best to please everybody or give the person he cares for all they want but it's gotten to the point where enough is enough. I'm an ordinary man!!!! like everybody else just a common counterfeit I'm an ordinary man He's just only human.....you can't keep taking from a man who has given his all...Many times people don't notice the work the love you can give them or offer them and they treat us like shit....This song is awesome cause it defines the pain of trying to save the world or the person you love but they make it more diffcult than it should be.....and the pain just makes you ordinary...=) cool and great stuff by breaking benjamin yet again. |

The whole theory about ben letting go of someone sick makes a whole lot of sense....And I also agree also about how the strings give the song the power to make you tear and break(pure awesomeness!) What i'm thinking though is.... This awesmome song to me is a deep relationship between two people. To me it's a guy and a girl and thier deeply in love but there's something that causes a rift between them. Distance, time, people. But the guy(ben) simply can't let her go...He is willing to fight the pain cause he understands the pain of love. How loving her or loving him hurts but it feels so right that you can't simply ignore it or let it go. I wanted to forgive I�m trying to forgive Don�t leave me here again I�m with you, forever, the end he wants to forgive her for the pain she brings him to his heart or vise versa. then he's trying to forgive himself for maybe ruining her chance at love or living life. He can't let her go cause she is his love his world his everything. he promises to her he won't leave her....and thats that.no questioning his love or care. he can't just leave her like that on her own alone. or forget thier love. this song isn't as basic as people think. When I listen to earth to bella two things come to mind. Love & the warning of the pain that comes with it. One thing I feel when I hear this wonderful peace of music is a warning from Brandon to "Bella." Everything you know is wrong (almost) Earth to Bella I see where you are not listening I bear the burden of being the voice that let's you know We all grow old And before you stand you've gotta be okay to sing This makes me feel that he is warning her about the risk of being in love.
