More instruments than vocals. Understandable. It's a great song. I've always admired Billy's lyrics (maybe because they're the most tangible part of the music) but the sounds are so engulfing. (Can you tell I'm not a musician lol?) |

It grows on you. At first I felt so confounded. It sounded like Shine by Take That. I was having none of it. Then, because I refused to hate it, I gave it another go. And another. And another. Then, I started to get it. Along with the other songs of the first EP, it fits and it makes sense. You need to listen to them all in sequence. Slow burner. |

One of my favourite songs ever.
I think its about "Glass" trying to free himself from a life-absorbing meth addiction. He just can't break free no matter how hard he tries. On another level it could also be about: fame, death, the death of the band, youth and endings. Whatever its about, it is truly epic. |
