Jon Anderson really makes this bit of the song good, not sure if I would've liked it had it been Haskell on vocals.

I think this song has a similar meaning to Yes' South Side of the Sky.

Yes – The Remembering (High the Memory) Lyrics 14 years ago
I believe the line "Don the cap and close your eyes imagine yourself that is the challenge" should be "imagine all the glorious challenge."

Yes – To Be Over Lyrics 14 years ago
It's a shame more people haven't commented on this truly beautiful song. To me, the lyrics are saying what's really possible if you just follow your dreams and that by the end you will know that you were right in doing so.

Paul McCartney – Jet Lyrics 14 years ago
I was thinking about the idea that the line "I thought the Major was a lady suffragette" was a reference to David Bowie, the "Major" being Major Tom and "suffragette" being his song Suffragette City. I soon found out that Suffragette City was released two years after this song. Although an interesting interpretation brought up by a previous poster, I think the "Major" and "suffragette" have much more literal meanings to go with the rest of the lyrics.
