David Bowie – Ashes to Ashes Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this is about David Bowie retelling his transitions and reinventions as an artist, like a metamorphosis if you will, and all the good stuff and bad that go along with it, like drugs, friends, money, relationships, groupies, fame and people parting ways into new paths. I guess that's the rewarding but ultimately sad and sometimes lonely life of an artist. much love to David Bowie-- xoxoxo!!

David Bowie – China Girl Lyrics 15 years ago
I def. agree with Anus_Presley.

China White is a slang for a-methylfentanyl, a stronger type of heroin, which was invented in 1976.

Iggy rephrases the term, however, and identifies it as China Girl. Why he did it is open to interpretation, most likely for media purposes, but I think the reason why was that he wanted to show his commitment to the substance, or I guess addicition, like a man who lusts over a lover/prostitute.

Throughout the entire song, he sounds stoned out of his mind as he tries to recall the happenings that occur while he's tripping out.

"My little China Girl
You shouldn't mess with me
I'll ruin everything you are
I'll give you television
I'll give you eyes of blue
I'll give you a man who wants to rule the world"

this part of the song shows his commitment to the drug and how he'd give himself up as long as he keeps getting the satisfying trips since heroin does lose it's potency to take effect over you in time (LONG time actually, so he must've really been into it).

David Bowie – Moonage Daydream Lyrics 15 years ago
I've always loved this song, since I could remember! and ofcourse, David Bowie too <33 and well, since he did dress up like "Ziggy", and Ziggy looked androgynous, it could be about a gay experience told by Ziggy's perspective, which i don't mind one bit ;)).

either way, You gotta love this song, it's one of the best in the entire world!!

The Beatles – Helter Skelter Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about having sex while you're high. Paul McCartney most likely wrote this song in a girl's POV.

"When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide,
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again."

Basically, Paul (still in a girl's POV) is describing the different sex positions and how she's so high she's comparing the experience to a slide.

Both:
"I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you." - refers to how she's about to cum but she's still higher than he is.
"I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you" - refers to how she's about to cum (again) but doesn't want him to yet.

Which is also why the song laters says "She's coming down fast, yes she is." in the guy's POV (or Paul's)

The chorus "Helter Skelter" is just another reference to their sex experience or a possible orgasm.

The entire song is just one correlation for a crazy sexual exp.
