My favorite Ray song. Maybe my favorite song ever. I too think it's about the darkness inside oneself. The imagery and emotion in this song just take my breath away. |

This song is so beautiful. To me it feels like more than just growing apart. Like maybe they lost a child, a little girl. Sometimes I get that feeling when I'm listening to it. |

This is probably my favorite song off this record. That may and probably will change eventually, like it always does, but this song just stands out. So simple but very poignant. It fits Ray perfectly. I can almost see him as the man who's writing the letter to his lady love over a hundred years ago. |

I love this song. I immediately loved it the first time I heard it. It doesn't even matter what the songs about when you feel the music in your bones. |

This is probably my favorite of all their songs. The lyrics are just amazing and it gives me chills. I'm seeing them in a few months and I really hope they sing this. I'll be a weepy blissful mess if they do. |

I love this damn site. It's so interesting to see how music has such a different affect on people. Like notthereyet mentioned.. it's left to the listener to decide what the song is about. Different for everyone. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. |

This is probably my favorite song off this album and at first i thought it was about a lost love or relationship but the more time I spent listening to it, I agree that it's about death. Well, to me anyways. But I think what I love most about Ray is that it absolutely doesnt matter what the songs are about. They're absolutely amazing...even if you haven no idea what he's talking about. The emotion from his voice is what grabs you and punches you in the heart and has you hanging on his every word. |
