To me.. this songs is about someone who loves someone even though they are a drug addict, and its taken over their life so when they arent high they dont feel anything and stay unmotivated. So they keep getting high on meth and acting childish and happy again and chasing whatever mini dreams they create that day, hugely procastinating and never accomplishing any of them but at least they feel happy again and they feel they are doing something with their life. Its about being able to see past the fact they are just a drug user and mean well and see past their asshole moments and act like a kid most of the time. Yet you stick and stay and be there for them hoping one day they will quit and just let nature run its course and remove the poison from their blood fully, rather it takes a month or a year. The times they feel u are burdening them and constantly checking/correcting them when youre around each other to the point where they might leave for a while and tell u they will be right back and dont come back for a long time and take on the cruel world on their own and u cant protect them, so then u start blowing their phone up and they arent responding and youre worried to death about them or if they said the wrong shit to the wrong person or did some dumb shit and got in trouble, etc.. Then they get home and everything is ok.. You arent mad, youre just happy their safe and u can protect them again. Not saying I agree with this behavior but to each their own and the one who burdens themself by finding a purpose in their life by helping someone else find purpose in theirs is the true sad story. |
