I was like 6 years old when this song came out but it has such a nostalgic feel to it. If you're over 21 and reminiscing on your teenage years, this song probably hits you. It is absolutely crazy to me how differently I feel about things and matured and it's only been like 4 years since I've graduated high school. It's all just a crazy blur and I feel like everyone at that stage in life takes everything for granted, and that's the reason you can't rememeber all of your feelings. You never second guessed or considered your emotions so when you reflect on them, it's all a bundled up nostalgic memory. Sure, you remember the people but what gravitated you towards them is so hard to reccolect because you've matured and no longer can think in a teenage-way -- that mindset is not obtainable ever again. I hope someone can relate to my interpretation here! Love AF, such a freaking awesome band. I love how they are 100x bigger now since they've reunited because people eventually realized how awesome they were. |

I've known this song for a few years now but it only recently started to relate to me so I'm going to throw in my two cents. The song to me is about trying to give something an effort to enjoy but you deep down don't feel it, and it sucks because at one time you had that passion for something. I think the song is about everything in general, too. The thing he's waiting for is that something or someone to come along and rejuvinate him and get that positive/loving emotion back into his life. I'm at a point in my life where I can relate so hard to that. I'm currently not into anyone or anything and not having that lust for something can make things so bland and it doesn't work when you force yourself to love something, and it makes you feel "lifeless" when you're indifferent towards so many things like a girl you used to love or something like that. I don't know. This song just came up on my shuffle the other day and I was like holy shit this song makes sense to me a lot right now. Sorry for rambling and the last comment for this song was like10 years ago so LOL but if anyone reads this I hope I'm not the only one that can relate! |

I think cut_here nailed it. And this is probably the best song that blink has put out since they got back together. The other 4 songs on the EP are okay but the chorus in this song reminds me of old blink. This and Natives are really the only other songs that I would consider 10s since Neighborhoods. Just too much AVA influence still in Tom and I don't like it in blink. |

Some people are saying that this song sounds like crap blah blah blah, but this song fuckin delivers. Sounds like a blend of AVA/BCR, this song grew on me quickly. Can't wait to see them in Hershey wooooooooo! |
