| Sublime – Seed Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Dude, I totally beleive the whole Brad getting a fellow friend hooked on Heroin. Check the lyrics, heres an interpretaion im having. Janie always said I was a mess Sorry bout that mess Janie, implying the friend in the song that is going to be hooked, before she was hooked saying Brad was a mess cause of his Heroin shits. He says sorry aboiut that mess, as in he got his mess in her place and he was saying sorry for causeing it as if it was a simple mess but it is really a metaphor for the heroin previously mentioned by her thinkin he was a mess I made her bleed I'm planting my seed I made her bleed could be her bleeding from the injecting, planting the seed, passing on a fellow addiction to grow inevitably into the junkie as a plant grows so inevitably. Really a tight metaphor. Still I knew it could take it if I opened up the rhythm I knew it could make it I hope her parents love her knowing she could take tehj addiction, as in handle if he openmed up[ her vbeings to the drug, as in the rhythm, cuase bnrad thoiught of heroin as a muisical inspiration, thats a noted reason he said he started. so open her iup to the rhyht, addiction. once againb saying he knew it being the person coul;d make it. and i hope her parents love her meaning to hope ehr parents love her enmough to help her get through the hard times as a junkie. |

| Lil' Wayne – A Milli Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think more often than not, Wayne's lyrics are incredible dope, and meaningful, and often times misunderstood. Misunderstood especially since so many people go into reading them with a preconceived notion. You can take any metaphor and point out how the face values of it make absolutley no obvious sense, but that is why it is called a metaphor. You can take probably any of Wayne's metaphors and find great menaing in em. At least thats what I think. | |
| Bloc Party – Like Eating Glass Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| the crosses on the eyes could mean a cartoonish way of saying dizzy or drunk, as in cant handle it so hes just drinking or getting fucked ups somehow to help deal with the divorce or breakup, if you agree with the divorce breakup theory like i do :) | |

| Bloc Party – Like Eating Glass Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Yeah man, you wrong. The song's lyrics themself disprove your idea as wrong. | |
| Bob Marley and the Wailers – Judge Not Lyrics | 15 years ago |
oh my fuckin goodness! hahaha, these lyrics are so incredibly wrong! Like almost every line has a very significant word, wrong, thus fucking with the intended meanoing and shit, bah humbug. Oh well, haha. Tis such a fuckin amazing song with such a very lovely and imporant point. Easy to understand, obvious and very true point. Good comparisons and shit. Lovelovelove. Good one, Bob-o! |

| Sublime – Mary Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Damn, this song is hard to interpret, everybody's theories all have certain points that would deem them valid, but you gotta take a look at the theories whom can apply to more of the song, cause all lines have to mean something, there not just put there for no reason, i mean they may be filler, but all the lines even filler ones were written to the same point, so lets take a look at this; Baby one breath away I'll find the words to say I'll sit and light the bong I'll hold my hit in real long Baby one breath away, could mean that his baby is one breath away thus further relating to our beloved marijuanna, or does he mean, his baby is one breath away breath as in words? Ah, hell find the words to say, so maybe he is talking about speaking? Then he goes into talking about pot. The way he mentions pot in this first four lines sounds like hes so sad about it, not just the way the actual song sounds but the way he words it; as in yeah you know im going to sit and light the bong, and of course inevitably the hit will be held in real long. But fuck, what do i know? I don't know if I can Go up inside of you tonight Oh Mary baby please don't fuss and fight Obviously, this looks like its talking about sex. But it kinda looks like Mary's being asked with sympathjy please not to fuss and fight with him about his mentioned inability to "go up inside" of her. You've heard the line before Mary baby please don't think that I'm a whore If you come home to me turn off the lights and lock up the doors, and start getting busy What line has she heard before? Apparently one that he feels the need to try to clear up his non-whoreness about. But while asking not to think hes a whore, he then asks her when she gets home to setttle the house down and then to come in and laid him. I don't know if I can Go so far up inside you tonight Oh Mary baby I could do it right But its confusing as FUCK! cause after asking to get busy hes saying that he doesnt know if he can, which makes it appear as if the inability isn't some kind of moral choice inabuility, but as in an actual inability, but once concluding that he then says how he could do it right, which starts the same track of mind all over again When we got to the pad Mary baby started calling me her dad Yes, she gave me head We could not find a damn bed Fifteen years old plus one Hotter than a microwave oven Oh Mary baby, your daddy is coming home Now, back to the home thing, which when previously mentioned included her "getting busy" as in fucking him but now instead of saying that hes saying she started calling him her dad, which i have heard some people do, some couples have the female refering to the male as some kind of dominant thing as in "dad", its not neccessarily an incest thing and then she started calling him dad seems like a way of saying she started sexually, either she got all turned on and shit, or she was asking him for sex, or soemthing as in her trying to instigate sexuality between the two, it further goes on to say the both could not find a bed, so they were both doing something in need of a bed...sex, he never says who the age is referring too but he also never says what he is calling hot, im sure he could be refering to himself with the age, but it seems teh age and hot reference are at the same person since they are both simultaneous and not aimed at anyone, i am sure he wouldnt call himself hot, so the age and hotness must belong to the girl and he ends with daddys coming home so i suppose after the girl tried instigating sex with calling bradley her dad, he eventuially went with it this is very rambly, and innacurate, and i just went through everything and tried to explain it how i interpretted it at the moment, who knows ill probably delete this after realizing how stupid it is |

| Sublime – Greatest Hits Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I totally beleive you. But why in lots of biographies of brad and the band Sublime does it say that "Brad would sometimes let The Ziggens open for them"? I beleive what your saying, I just figured you could clear this up for me. | |
| Dr. Dre – Nuthin But A "G" Thang Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Whoa shit man, this song is so good. It is so chill and relaxed. Speaking of, yall niggas need to all shut the fuck up and relax. If somebody views a song in a way that they can relate it to somethting anythuing that they are familiar with, whats the problem? It doesnt matter how foreign, different, or weird a relation is, its a personal thing, if you dont see it fine but dont say bad things about it just cause somebodyu else views it that way you wouldnt be mad if he was relating it to something more modern, or relatable so why be mad he did something that was simply modern and relatble to HIM? Hwuthuh |

| Lil' Wayne – I Feel Like Dying Lyrics | 15 years ago |
wow, when hearing it simply, i never heard a meaning in it, and figured it was wayne proving an inability to write lyrics that arent egoboosting, because at fiorst i just heard about getting higher and higher but once readinga nd seeing some comments i see there is totally some fucking meaning, and thats awesome good job, wayne |
| Lil' Wayne – Break Up Lyrics | 15 years ago |
one of my most favorite, if not absoliute favorite lil wayne song, surprised at its lack of comments the lyrical content is all just your typical ego boosting, taht you hear in all new age rap, especailly amongst lil wayne |
| Lil' Wayne – Bedrock Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I think the lyrical content being based off of sex, is a bit too scandalous for my preference. But even the chorus it seems to be playing into a false idea of love, its supposed to represent love isnt it, the chorus? Oh baby I be stuck to you Like glue thats alright, if he means always with her thats the only good thing, but it still could have been meant to be scandalous baby wanna spend it All on you money baby my room is the G spot call me Mr.Flintstone I can make your bed rock I I I can make your bed rock Sex but maybe i am taking the chorus the wrong way, and maybe it isnt supposed to be about love, but simply about sex as the rest of the song is in which case, it makes sense |

| Lil' Wayne – Bedrock Lyrics | 15 years ago |
yeah man, when i heard that i thought she was making a witty line using the word asbestos, and then the lyrics said bestest or whatever and i was like damn that could have easier been a cleverer line, with a little spelling change but i was wondering if that might ahve been it the wholke time, and i am glad to see someone agreeing with me |
| Lil' Wayne – Bedrock Lyrics | 15 years ago |
hes referencing some sort of excess skin somewhere it may be somewhere expected, like her breasts or behind but it also may be a bit more personal, like she may have a tiny bit of a belly or something and hes saying he loves it desptie society's demand of her not to have it |
| Lil' Wayne – Bedrock Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i think knock the lights out and she still shine does sound very weezy and potentially is the correct lyrics but i think knock her lights out still works cause i thought he meant like he fucked her so much or so hard or wahtever, that he knocked her lights out, and despite the gratuitous amount of fucking, she still shine so i think that could still work but knock THE lights out, may be a bit more likley |

| Lil' Wayne – Bedrock Lyrics | 15 years ago |

yeah shes referencing eating out mayber her pussy is just wide enough to cover sideburns and a mouth just kidding but thats wahts she means, is receiving oral sex |

| N.W.A. – Express Yourself Lyrics | 15 years ago |
yo chemmy Expressin aint their subject Because they like to follow The words, the style, the trend, the records i spin that crucial fourth line could go with it too cause hes saying dont take an opinion on drug consumption based of off somebodys words, the popular style, or popular trends and then "the records i spin" could very importantly mean just because he in fact DOES smoke weed and DOESNT take teh anti drug stance taken in this song, which may have just been for the initial shock value it was given. thats what I was thinkin to go along with your saying they or he or wahtever wasnt taking an anti drug stance as it was suggestd, because of obvious drug consumption among the band but they were doing it to pooint out how user muisical artist dont "express [them]self" by putting on the fake anti drug stance and thats why he makes the comment about after the show and looking for the mentioned dopeman |

| AFI – Cereal Wars Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song makes me question if Davey Havok is really straight edge, like he says he is, that is, assuming that he wrote it. | |
| AFI – Mini Trucks Suck Lyrics | 16 years ago |
tigalene, you are a dumbass, their is no mention at all of race, or anything. The fact that you took drug consumption, bass pumping, car racing, and other various acts as a black stereotype, means your either racist, or waaaay over sensitive to race. This mentions nothing of race. Your a dumbass. The song is amazing, I love all of AFI's music, including the EP this was on all the way to Decemberunderground. This is one of my favorite AFI songs. Various amounts of meanings going into the song, a bit of his straight-edge feelings are shown in this song. Which is cool. I am not straight edge, but its cool Davey was putting in what he felt and beleived in, into this song. I am 15 |
