I don't know if the rest of your comment it meant to also be a joke, but if you're serious about the first half, I'd like to comment on what you said. I find it ignorant that you state that the colonial ancestors of the United States were ALL criminals, unless by what you mean 'criminals' is as in those who were not part of the Loyalists whom supported the British monarchy and opposed American independence.
No, compared to the European countries of that time that still remain standing today, the United States of America obviously isn't that very old. As of the time that I write this comment, this nation is only 225 years old. The framers of the U.S. Constitution weren't criminals either. They are well-educated and talented men who were capable of leading their communites and forming a new nation. They included governors, generals, judges, congressmen, businessmen, financiers, plantation owners, physicians, and attorneys. The Founding Fathers were also heavily inspired by British philosopher John Locke in establishing America's First Principles, such as that of unalienable rights, the Social Compact, and limited government.
and obviously most colonialists would 'steal' from the Brits, Dutch, Spanish, French, and whomever else established a colony in the North Americas. they were grew up into the culture in the first place, and it's natural for an immigrant to bring one's culture with them and still have a firm tie to it. If that is not the case, then the rest of Britain's (and France, Spain, etc.) colonies around the world also 'stole' from Britain, France, Spain, etc.
but whatever. the true ancestors of the Americas are obviously the Native Americans, before all those white people came. lol. |
