This song is actually about Adam sitting in a bar in New York City (Down in New Amsterdam) with his friends when he was just turned 18, trying to figure out how to talk to this girl (starin' at this yellow hair girl). I got that from when he came to Atlanta for 99X's Live X. He said what it was about, then he sang the song. It really is an amazing song. |
