This song is gorgeous. Probably my favorite from Stand Up. It's terrible how such beautiful music is overlooked because of the crap that comes out these days. The lyrics are simple, but the way he sings it is lovely, and instrumentally it is wonderful too. Who wouldn't want to hear that just their smile means something to someone?

Hmm, pretty general lyrics. I think that a man and his coworker went on a business trip together with the company. They went to a party in the evening, and went back to their hotel. They ended up in one of their rooms, the have sex, and return home. But the next time they see each other it becomes very awkward and they can't speak to each other the same way that they used to. Instead of sexual innuendos, they talk about the weather. |
