Whatever the rest of the song may mean... the line "Where the fuck did Monday go?" is a definite reference to the fact that Bowie knew very well in advance that he wouldn't live until Monday (January 11th). (The album was released on Friday, January 8th and David Bowie passed away on Sunday, January 10th.) |
