| Portal – Still Alive Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Best video game song ever! Love the hints about what we can expect in the next Portal/Half-Life. |
| My Bloody Valentine – Swallow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I had the exact same thought when listening to Loveless. | |
| The Flaming Lips – Feeling Yourself Disintegrate Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Despite only having five lines the lyrics are incredibly powerful. Less really is more when dealing with this kind of material. One of the best Lips songs. | |
| The Flaming Lips – Guy Who Got a Headache and Accidentally Saves the World Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Outlandish take on the tale of the tragic hero. Some wonderful music here. | |
| The Flaming Lips – Five Stop Mother Superior Rain Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Bleak. Love the guitar work. The addition of Jonathan Donahue into the band was such a good move. |
| Bob Dylan – Mississippi Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| For me this song marks the return of Dylan's true songwriting abilities. This could have been on Blood on the Tracks. Just amazing. | |
| Bob Dylan – Dirt Road Blues Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's odd how a reversion to the style of his very first record can be so refreshing. | |
| Bob Dylan – Dark Eyes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Probably the best Dylan song in the more than twenty year period between Desire and Time Out of Mind. | |
| The Killers – All These Things That I've Done Lyrics | 17 years ago |
rosettastone7 XD Bill Bailey is a genious! |
| Bob Dylan – You Ain't Goin' Nowhere Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Best song on the album. | |
| Bob Dylan – Apple Suckling Tree Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The keyboard on this song is something special. | |
| Bob Dylan – Clothes Line Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This has got to be the most laid back song ever written. You could sit through a riot with an easy smile on your face if this was playing. |
| Bob Dylan – Pledging My Time Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I love that sort of metallic sound he gets with the harmonica at the end of the song. | |
| Bob Dylan – From a Buick 6 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Oops, wrong song :) Well, I love this song too. Sounds like a pretty great girl he's singing about. |
| Bob Dylan – Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The second last verse is so chilling. I wonder if Mr Dylan has a natural distrust of people in authority :) |
| Bob Dylan – From a Buick 6 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"And if I don't make it, You know my baby will." I like to think he's talking about how his music will endure after he's gone. This song is so fucking beautiful it kills me. |

| Bob Dylan – It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry Lyrics | 17 years ago |

| Bob Dylan – Bob Dylan's 115th Dream Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is the song that first got me into Dylan. The idea of a song being a surreal dreamlike tale was so new and appealing to me. The man says, "Get out of here I'll tear you limb from limb" I said, "You know they refused Jesus, too" He said, "You're not Him" ^one of the best things ever written. |
| Bob Dylan – Odds and Ends Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Just for the record, the first line sounds to me like "I stand in awe and I shake my face," but having checked around a good bit, these are the lyrics that come up on nearly every other site. |
| Bob Dylan – I Shall Be Free Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Took me a while to notice the reference to racial segregation in the third verse. Used to think it was just playful nonsense. |
| Bob Dylan – A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Dylan's genuine concern for the future of the world comes through so clearly here. There is so much powerful imagery it's hard to single out any particular lines for praise. I love what he says about the highway of diamonds though. Think it refers to people mistaking what is truely valuable. |
| Bob Dylan – Song to Woody Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Easily the best song on the album. Such an endearing tribute to his hero. |
| Bob Dylan – Freight Train Blues Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Ah... First song on his first album. He really hits the ground running. Original version was written by Jesse Fuller I believe. |
