i always thought the 'dark red and big with blood' line was referencing the many vicious 'bites' lovers take at each other with words, not literal blood. at least that seems to be the way it works at my house. |

the demo version is indeed the best. in fact, i think its their best song. you just gotta crank it up every time it plays. powerful, words and music. the very definition of a perfect metal song. didnt they say that 'whatever you think the lyrics mean, THATS what they mean' in an interview? |

these lyrics are pure genius, as are most of his songs. think its about wanting, always wanting something, anything...to fill you with feelings so you can stop feeling nothing. complicated, i can feel it but not describe it. one of my very favorite songs of all time. |
