Poets Of The Fall – Carnival of Rust Lyrics 17 years ago
Poets of the Fall has such wonderfully deep and amazingly well written lyrics. <3

I have no personal interpretation of the entire song, but this small bit seems like life in six words:

"It's all a game, avoiding failure."

Life explained in six words...*shakes head* Damn. There are many ways to explain life, obviously. This being one of them. One very good one, at that. And I am quite envious of the talent here, though I'm glad it's out there. :)

Poets Of The Fall – Sleep Lyrics 17 years ago
This makes me think a lot about my own life, but I'm not going to get into specifics. I first heard it on my internet radio and the first few notes literally made me cry. Very first song I heard by PotF. Love it. <3 As much as it makes me think of my past, it gives me hope. It reminds me that that is my *past* and that I have a *future*. My future doesn't need to be like my past.

"You just need to heal
Make good all your lies
Move on and don't look behind"

Not meaning to go on about me, but maybe someone else feels the same?

*nod* I agree with you on this, MaximumMax. Seems logical.

This is the second song I heard by PotF and I absolutely love it. I'm thinking about doing a cover of it. :)

Panic! at the Disco – Camisado (Relax, Relapse) Lyrics 17 years ago
Okay. There's a lot of talk about various different things here and I want to clear it up. This song IS about Ryan Ross' alcoholic father.

Quote: Two of the songs on P!ATD's debut album, Camisado and Nails For Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks, were written about Ryan's personal experience with his alcoholic father.

This came from: http://www.tv.com/ryan-ross/person/465279/biography.html

There's a lot of information up there, if you feel like fishing through it. But this song is, in fact, about Ryan's father and his alcoholism.
