Céline Dion – S'il Suffisait D'aimer Lyrics 16 years ago

No comments here? I'm not much of a Celine Dion fan but this song really touched me when I heard it. Both the lyrics and her voice are so strong, but so hurt. In general I hate how so much music (pop and non-pop) is just about "love" and other silly ideas, but this song would be an exception for me. Of course, it is, in a way, an anti-love song, though I suppose it all really depends on how you take it.

Someone with a more natural understanding of French should comment on it, they may get nuances that I don't hear (I've never studied).

Mägo de Oz – Desde mi Cielo Lyrics 17 years ago
It's sung very strongly, and shows a lot of pain.. and love. The lesson is also good, albeit tragic. I feel as though it's a new sort of approach... instead of someone lamenting over a dead loved one this is a story told from the reverse, the spirit of a recently deceased telling his loved ones to keep living, and that the best way to remember him is by being happy.

Owl City – West Coast Friendship Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm interested to know what people think of this song but there are no comments. Personally, I think it's about new beginnings, venturing into something new, even if it's scary (thus the tears?). It just seems like a very positive approach to doing something new when you're in a bad situation, and just leaving it behind.
