Me First and the Gimme Gimmes – One Tin Soldier Lyrics 13 years ago
The meaning of this song is quite simple in my mind.
The two kingdoms, the Mountain and the Valley were living in peace till the Valley people
learned that the Mountain people had some sort of treasure.
So the Valley people got greedy, like we all do, and asked for the treasure. When the Mountain people offered to share it, the Valley people recieved nothing, cause they already had the treasure, though they didn't know it.
So they attacked and killed all the Mountain people and found out that the treasure was peace on earth.
They had it the whole time. The Mountain people were sharing it the whole time.

The moral of the story? There will never be peace until all kingdoms, or countries, are gone except of one. While there remain more than one, there will never be peace.

Now, do I believe that we should have one world order? No. Never. I would rather have wars than have some kind of fake utopia that will eventually end when someone wants to break off.

Bad Religion – Ad Hominem Lyrics 15 years ago
jtpow, That's a great example of ad hominem. One point of advice though. Don't blame someone of such a thing when you're doing it as well. We all do it. Even you. I find it very close minded to point out religios persons when there are millions of examples. How about every politician? You mommy and daddy. Your friends?
I've been in the punk scene for many years and Bad Religion is my favorite band of all time. Does being religious make me less punk? NO! While you go along spouting out what your friends and bands say, I decided to think for myself and do what's best for me. But of course everybody knows what's best for you so you might be right. But remember, no Bad Religion song can make your life complete.

The tattooed tear can also just be a sign of a broken heart. A deep sadness that you can never get rid of.

Bad Religion – Out of Hand Lyrics 16 years ago
On the topic of lyrics, it doesn't matter what the book says. You can clearly hear what he says in the
song. Thats the more important part I think. As for the awesomeness of the song I think it's up there in my
top 10. It's even my ring tone. Love Bad Religion. Always have and always will.
