After a few listens to this song, it almost seems to me like a continuation or linked to the song 'Because of the shame' of White Crosses. Just a thought. |

I think it's more or less a symbol of the band parting ways with their old ways of music and taking on a new form. White Crosses in general symbolize death and the end of something, the death of their old ways. Just some food for thought although it can be taken as a cheap love song. |
