I think this could either be about a dog or a girl I think its more likely its a girl, because the tital means "breast of gold" in welsh, I mean who would talk that way about a dog? But I think its about his endless love for this girl, a love that is so pure it is like nature to him (if you get what I'm saying) but anyways fantastic song, GREAT guitar. I wish led zeppelin did everything acoustic like this, they are so good at it! If you havnt listen to all of Led Zeppelin III their best album by far |

This is such a great song I think this song is just about how all things have to end (if you want to generalize it) Or about the end of Jefferson Airplane I also think its about how if you dont change you will eventuall get burned out "But all I know is what I feel whenever I'm not playin' Emptiness ain't where it's at and neither's feeling pain" and it doesnt seem like they are sad about changing, because like I said they know that it has to happen eventually and now is the time GREAT SONG! |

I think this song's general meaning is talking about how so many people are trying to find understanding for their life, their existance on this earth. And I think she's saying that you can't always go to one source to find out what your meaning is. "There's more than one answer to these questions Pointing me in a crooked line And the less I seek my source for some definitive The closer I am to fine" I think the last lines mean that if you dont go out trying to find one exact reason for your existance (like The Bible) you will find your own true meaning clearer than any other person can tell you. You have to find out what your life means for yourself. |
