I can't describe what this song means to me. I thought it said really hurt me , really cut me. I met someone online... a few months ago, really powerful and unexpected. the first song he sent me was this one and i described exactly the wonder. the book i opened and how i have to know much more, and the curiousness of the potential kiss, and missing every part. and the reticence of my mind reasoning with my heart had for falling in love with someone online, really not my style, weirdo behavior. But definetely it feels crazy, butterflies like i have never felt before. and it's everything , physical, mental, emotionally stimulating. Anticipation has been building in the last 4 months, we talk on skype.... will meet soon, we live 25000km away from each other, and 40 flight hours away. But will put some reality into it. This song i think is the one of the most beautiful ones i heard. beyond moving, and it's not the lyrics, it's the melody and symphony, it's like the whole word gets on their knees in front of love. There's is no one left in the world , that WANT to hold on to. Really no one left, YOU are the only one. That's like pure, unadulterated soulful love. words and melody evoke a love bigger than you. Whole and true. That's how i love..... fortunately, though my fortune has not come yet. Beautiful |

I didn't relate it to a bombing. But for me , in my mind it evoked the image of War widow, a woman with the family waiting for the cadaver of her husband coming back from war. to come in the box cars where they transport the coffins. for me the stone breaking the crown, and the wait so long was about what was going emotionally in the mind of the dead soldier's wife, and widow. And also the fact that while the husband was at war, the woman was waiting for him to come back, but ultimately he comes back in a box. But the bombing theory makes sense too. I love this song anyway .. and it's definetely about anticipation |
