He was crazy, half of his songs were crappy, but I don't think he did what he did for schock value, most of the time he had to mug people to survive. Some of his songs were good, like "Rowdy Beer Drinkin' Night" "Carmelita (Warren Zevon's lyrics were far better, but GG surpassed him in the music composition) "Guns Bitche's Brawls and Bottles," "When I Die,"Outskirts of Life." |
