Quite a kick-ass song. Just about livin' it up and getting drunk as hell. While I'm not too big a fan of Nickelback's newer stuff, I gotta agree that they're one of the biggest bands of today. It's catchy songs like this that everyone can just scream their hearts out to that makes them famous. |

I absolutely love this song. To me, it seems to be saying that someone has changed, seemingly for the worse, and is lying to get away from a lifestyle that he/she doesn't want, a "town...built to remind me of all my mistakes." But that's just my guess. (: Okay... Does anyone else notice how some of DLD's song titles are based on lines from the movie "The Truman Show"? Maybe that's a wide-known fact and I'm just now realizing that, but there's this one plus their other song "Cue the Sun" that I've noticed. |

Awesome, awesome, awesome song. I can't believe it's been so long since TBS came out with something new. I was actually really disappointed with Louder Now (I only /really/ liked "MakeDamnSure"), so I'm hoping this new album will sound more like TBS's old stuff instead of poppy and trendy like Louder Now did. Hell, if the rest of New Again sounds like this song, I'll be damn pleased. (: I'm not too sure about the meaning of this song, but it almost sounds like a guy singing about a pushy, controlling girlfriend whom he still loves very much. |

Honestly, I cannot stand this band and I have no idea how people can compare them to Paramore (I love Paramore). I thought this was a Disney star singing when I first heard it. The songs and sound are nothing special. |

I'm not Christian at all, quite far from it, actually, and I love this song. Blindside is quite a talented band and their music has been relieving in the fact that it doesn't sound like every other band out there. I completely agree with and appreciate all of you that say the true meaning of a song doesn't have to be the meaning for everyone. Even though this is supposedly a Christian song, I relate it to my non-Christian life by interpreting it as having a meaning to do with cheating on a boy/girlfriend. That might be a bit of a stretch, yet it really does make sense if you really look at the lyrics. I know a lot of you may disagree with me on this, but it's simply my opinion since I cannot relate to a Christian lifestyle whatsoever. |

Sure, this single song is kind of catchy and/or sexy, but it's nothing special. It reminds me quite a lot of Nickelback's "Something in Your Mouth". Honestly, I cannot stand this band. Their lyrics have no good meaning, their songs sound the same as any other radio bands out there, and I can't stand when bands sing about degrading women like this. I can resort to rap if I want to hear that. |

It's almost shocking that more people haven't commented on this song; it's surprisingly good. I love the theme of doing what you want and not letting "them" tell you otherwise. This cover is honestly amazing, amazing, amazing. I liked the original George Michael version, but I honestly like the Seether version better. They put a deep, emotional spin on the original. Just a few corrections that I noticed: Chorus should be "I should have KNOWN better than to cheat a friend." Second verse line should be "To the heart and mind, IGNORANCE IS kind." |

Goddamn, this song is amazing. Who gives a fuck if it's about war? Like sarcasmandsodomy said, at least it's not about the generic "feel bad for me" kind of stuff. I can completely agree with this song. Personally, I am completely anti-war, viewing it as a pointless and idiotic way to solve problems. Actually, aowens, 3/5 members of the band are Christian. While I can see how this song could be about God an all that, I'm atheist, so I really can't relate to that. If this ISN'T a religious-based song, I can interpret it as a guy who's looking back on his past relationship and regretting things he has said or done. |
