| The Mars Volta – Desperate Graves Lyrics | 14 years ago |

First of all these lyrics are not accurate. In keeping with the kidnapping theme stated by the Mars, I believe this song more specifically deals with Project Monarch, an occult government-sponsored mind control technique that uses prolonged physical, psychological and sexual abuse to create dissociation and multiple personalities in the victim, usually children. Go here for evidence of it's existence: http://www.scribd.com/doc/42673208/GovernmentSponsoredMindControlExperiments-MediaPacket I think the song is from the viewpoint of a handler, the person who performs these tortures. He first states that he "floods the tubs where the warmth held her up", which describes the dissociative feeling of floating when the body is "flooded" with pain, then mentions the Ouroborous, the snake that swallows it's own tail, a very important occult symbol. "The light brings the highest execution" refers to Wonderland, the fairy tale world that the original persona finally flees to in order to escape the horrific trauma. "Show me the wings I must cut" refers to the monarch butterfly after which the process is named. "These are desperate graves" points to the original persona dying, desperately trying to escape it's torture. "Give me the alter" is the handler creating alternate personalities within the subject. "The pendulum won't wait" describes hypnosis. "I slay your spirits with twin current volts" describes the electroshock therapy used by the handler. "The pit of my palms" asserts the control he has over the victim. "When I turn the dial and leave the gas on" might mean the hallucinogenic drugs used. "I'm the matchstick that you'll never lose": the handler lives on in the mind-controlled slave forever. "I light the key that locks you in": that locks the original persona in Wonderland. "And you'll wear the burden of all my burns" reasserts the permanent psychic scars left be the handler. I know this is all new to most of you, so be sure to visit www.vigilantcitizen.com for a more complete understanding. |

| Mudvayne – I Can't Wait Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| At first I thought that he was just talking about all the shitty things in the world too, but then I realized that he was saying that the self, "I", is the source of all these perceived realities, you know? Like, with the death of the concept of self, all these things disappear, right? I mean jeez, he says just that in Scarlet Letters : "Do you believe in loss, do you believe in faith, do you believe in death, now that I'm gone?" | |

All of you except for mudtide and random8442 are looking at this too superficially. One key to chad`s lyrics is in Krishnamurti`s writings, which were posted as suggested readings on the original L.D.50 website. When he talks about killing himself, it`s about the symbolic death of the ego. So fuck you. |

| It's cool that you said that the album is cursed and that this song is the most cursed on the cd, because I think that this is the best album I've ever heard (of any band) and that this is the best song of all time. | |

Whoops, the alteration is actually Don't let me don't let me go But it doesn't really change the meaning I gave it. |

The alteration of that verse Don't let me, don't let me die Is the believer begging the Christ to reassure him, through resurrection, of the eternality of his soul, that he will never die. In you're viscera eyes Viscera cannot mean simply "shit" as an earlier poster wrote, because viscera refers to all the internal organs, including digestive, excretory and reproductive organs. I believe that it is simply referring to the innards, so viscera eyes would mean introspective vision, looking inside at yourself. Cataracts close the blinds This means that the believer is blinded as to his real self, cannot see who he truly is because of his artificial and illusory faith. Let me let comfort come drown by you're side. I don't know who me is referring to (Jesus?), but anyway I think this means that the real self of the believer is killed (drowning) by his faith in Christ. This interpretation is supported by later verses: I've got a prayer that'll make you theirs now, beneath sepultures, Rise you're entrails as an offer. So faith kills the self, the real inner self (sepultures, entrails) and delivers it to that predator, God, or perhaps the ruling class that benefits from such opiate-like biblical verses as "Obey you're king" or "Obey you're husband" I hope someone will support or contradict all this! |

There is a venom in numerical lies I think numerical here simply refers to biblical text, which is divided by number into chapter and verse, so the story of the Bible has a venom that paralyzes, intoxicates or kills it's prey, the reader. You're convalescent thorns are but a crown of magnets Speaking to Jesus, he is saying that the story of the resurrection of the Christ secretes a venom (through the thorns) which draws people towards Him They fold the shakes inside that third glass eye. The story of the resurrection of the Christ reassures people, it hides the fear of dying in the third glass eye which means a fake spiritual vision, or belief in divinity and immortality (Tetragrammaton mentions the wounds of a prosthetic faith) Come on and give it to me, come on and die This is the believer begging the Christ to die for his sins and save him. |
