I spoke to several people at my college, as well as some local bands, and they, as well as I, feel that this song is a continuation of the themes in "When Worlds Collide", which I read is about class conflict. In "Bombshell", the oppressed people have finally snapped and have decided to revolt against their oppressors, seeing their utter destruction as their chance to survive. I swear this sounds like something you'd play to rally a rebellion. |

I agree with ibmp72. This song does seem to be about someone who is sick of listening to everybody else telling him what to do. His hate for his would be controllers leads him to chose to forsake his ties to everybody else to get what he wants, not matter what consiquences he faces for it. |
