Does anyone have more info on what he means when he says, "If i was the Baltic Sea and you where a cup". Obviously a cup cant drink the whole Baltic Sea. So is he trying to say how great she is while still saying he's going to get as much of her as possible? |

not sure, but maybe this is a song about a guy that experimented with homosexuality. the fool around some, become friends and then the guy goes back to his old friends and makes fun of gay ppl or the band....

This was the Best response to this song by EARLYNOVROCK (thank you): I believe that if you listen to Where is the Love by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway, you will see that this song is about falling in love with someone only to have them fall back in love with the person they were with when they met you. Miss Flack is the "catch" that Donnie is trying to get, but instead he ends up "charming the one who gave up on her". He makes the guy she was with before want her back, and she goes back to him. Then they also throw in the previously covered references to old song showing that they were created because of troubled thoughts and self-esteem, most of which seem to be related to losing a catch under similar circumstances in the past. I think the overall point is that most songs are about losing someone you love.
