ok, you are all assholes, look at the url of this website, it is not a poll so you can rant about your band.(it does not matter if they are good or not) you should all be removed and or assassinated. that said, does anyone know what this song means, i dont really think its about evolution, cuzz that would mean it is also about "lobotomies with telekinetic psychology." its either really heavy deep metaphor, or its just nonsense, can anyone makes sense of it? please do not reply just to say something like "linkin park rocks" or "you suck" |

| i think it could be taken either way. there is no way of telling if the composer intended it to merely be about a lonely girl (i assume gender from the vocals) losing sleep because she wants "the" someone close, or if its a cleverly subtle beating around of the bush to refer to sexual intercourse. even if the later is the meaning, its not the point, it would merely be reasonable to occur with two people who feel like this, to the point of losing sleep in each others absence. i almost think the ambiguous lyrics are intentional, leaving it open for us to decide, and skipping to the point of simple human contact. of not being alone, metaphor or not. | |
