Personally, I find this to be a very religious song. I do realize that if the artists have come out and said it was about something different, then its probably safe to believe them. But, at the same time music is one of those wonderful arts open to interpretation and I like mine :) I heard a short clip of this song on the show Criminal Minds and fell in love with it. I actually did not know the song was sung by Lifehouse and assumed it was by a Christian group. And as I have been battling depression as of late, the lyrics I heard were really uplifting. I immediately related the song to Christ, and quickly searched to find out who sang it. This song is amazing and I'm really thankful to have heard it. It's so inspirational and helps me have hope sometimes when I feel like there's none left. |
