I agree with the last two posters. Anyways, this song kind of gives me the same feeling lyrically as the song "Newest Industry" from Zen. A "things are getting out of hand because we're stupid" type feel. Pretty much, this song owns because it's fast, tears through everything in its path, and I love the duet vocals at the end. |

This has to be the best song on one of the best albums of all time. It's so great. I love the vocal style used in this song, it sounds a bit different than the others. My favorite part is near the end when they repeat "said there's no returning on this chartered trip away" a few times to really emphasize that idea. Anyways, I am at a loss as to what "out there on the desert, i see trees on every wall, nothing's ever solved." means. Any idea? |

I've somewhat recently gotten into Husker Du, and while I learned to appreciate their stuff a good bit, once I heard this song I was speechless. This is the kind of song that is so beautiful it will change somebodies life. Wow. |

I love this song. I am a descendents fan, big time. I heard this song once, and it described the situation I had with a girl perfectly. Almost every dang word fit into place....it's like Milo Aukerman knew me or something. Heck, even the part at the end, the girls name actually IS karen. That freaked me out a lot. I do not know if she has blue eyes or not. This is just one reason why I think the Descendents are amazing. |
