I agree with the couple of guys above me, but I get a fear of abandonment feel from the song, it's like he loves someone, but he doesn't wanna get close or anything because he thinks that he will get hurt or he will hurt them, the lines that kinda point me towards that are, "If you love me let me go, and run away before I know, my heart is just too dark to care, I can't destroy what isn't there" and the last verse as well, I don't think this song is really aimed at anyone in particular, just a sense of loss and abandonment. |
