Such a Doors-like feel to this song. I saw them perform it this week live and they pulled it off perfectly. What a great, chill song. |

it is "its ruined her makeup". if you listen closely, you can hear the "up" very faintly.
thank god that ray exists. what beauty he puts into the world. |

jdstults, i can hear the dialogue in the background too. it starts at the 2:30 mark. it's so faint that i can't understand what it says, but it does sound like some sort of an old newscast or radio announcement.
the song meaning is simple to me - look within yourself first before reaching to others for things that you should be able to provide within yourself first (love, respect, company, truth). and you must be in the moment (be here now) to truly find it.
thank god for ray. |

brian wright does, in fact, have a song called "sad clown." in fact, i though this song was actually called "ode to sad clown" in honor of brian's original.
here's the link to brian's song: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brianwrightwaco
you can hear brian singing on this song of joe's nearer the end. hear the husky voice singing about wheels roll 'round? that's brian. and everyone should be his fan. he's astounding. |
