This is the other side of the coin for Rape Song by SYL (self-titled album). Devin explained this was liberation from personal emotional baggage. The baggage being trauma from sexual violence. She's leaving it behind. |

This talk of Patricia Morrison and how Eldritch kicked her out like garbage after The Floodlands era. I suppose he had a greater vision of her as a SOM member at first. This is a powerful song both lyrically and musically but I don't know what to make of it. |

The singer starts the encore without his bandmates, he plugs his guitar. Spotlight pointing at him.
"This one is about a friend. He had a lot of problems. He is no longer with us"
The he starts singing Bridges with a clean guitar tone. The whole audience stops bantering and watches as he plays. Lit lighters appear, held overhead. Everyone is quiet and standing still, except the singer.
After he finishes, rest of the band appear on stage and they continue the encore with Echoes
