ye i see this all but I had another idea towards the end that maybe it's about an enema [they stick a hose up ur ass n turn the water on. supposed to be theraputic...aka colonic decongestion] For a physical challenge I'm notoriously bored Intravenous delivery, Electrolytes and more Every time it's the same routine Out with the bad, In with the clean Before I lose all motor skills There's one thing you should know I found that very funny. Maybe its just me =] |

| Yellowcard – You and Me and One Spotlight Lyrics | 18 years ago |

hey guys I see all your meanings as well...but what I get from this song is a nuclear war happening and the people in the song know they are going to die from it. It's almost a metephore of life, comparing life to a show, "It’s you and me and one spotlight/ not much time" both references to life... "go put on your best tonight" meaning nothing matters anymore, lets at least make the last one count "We’ll sing this song out And then we'll lie down " metaphor where the song is life, and lying down is dying. "So watch the world burning bright" "When everything dies But one last sunrise " To me this is the destruction of the earth through nuclear means. It could also relate to the "Paper Walls" theme of everything around you burning. I don't think this is one characters death because it says "when EVERYTHING dies" and "Say you’ll get me through the ending" where he says "THE ending" and not just his ending... the official ending of everything. |

I agree with the song being about a relationship and "all the way to church this time" if meaning she could Marry the guy. also the 'this time' means she's been in relationships like this before...not important. the 'breathe, the windows down' part is with windows as boundaries, saying u can breathe is like saying you can be free... i think it means you can still be yourself and be inside boundaries {of society?} |

| Yellowcard – Holly Wood Died Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I just did a search: http://heartofhollywood.com/ A guy called Joe Sutton was a public relations man for celecrities. He convinced Neil Diamond to start singing. He has a book titled "The Heart of Hollywood: From Hollywood to Hell and Back" in this website, it literally says: "Sutton's world began crashing in around him. Surrounded by past successes and the promise of yet more, he found himself in a deep depression. Therapists and medication helped somewhat, along with support from his family and friends." "He began to reevaluate his life, learning to to appreciate the people around him, and to recognize just how blessed he really was" I think this song even be about him, or about a girl who was somehing like him.... |

also, fave on the albumn!! fave band goin to concert in 40 days! I reckon its bout a girl called Holly Wood. "Accidents out on the highway to somewhere, they tell us about when we’re young" accidents= not always bad thing? co-incedences...highway a symbol of a pathway, so maybe the path you would travel to fame? when you're young you hear stories about peopples rise to fame... the resuers cleaning up crashes= trying to hide the people who failed trying to make it big the rest of the verse i think is about 'Holly' who is getting caught up in trying to make it big, but they hid the failure stories. Maybe she found someone who used her (they always say, dog-eat-dog world) and then the lyrics switch back to the personification of Hollywood with names on her sidewalks... I don't know if 'the heart of Holly Wood' would represent anything... the second verse shows holly might have made it big and is living 'the high life', but also she is still unhappy. 'someone remembers her too' as opposed to remembering her actions... and then ofcorse the chorus saying that there is someone who will remember her (person singing *ryan*) who will be there when she is finished in 'hollywood' holly wood died... both hollywood the place, and a girl holly whose sould died? |
