Craig Armstrong – Snow Lyrics 15 years ago
There is something about this song that makes it perfect for moments of melancholy reflectiveness. As for it's meaning, I think it's about being in love with someone who isn't telling you the whole truth.

The protagonist is saying that he'll be ok if his partner decides to leave, but if they decide to stay then he'll change all his plans to accommodate.

Conjure One – Like Ice Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about Person A resigning themselves to the fact that Person B whom they once cared for is now being cared for by Person C.

The song doesn't seem overly resentful towards the Person C, more just emphasising how they acted was cold and inevitable given that Person B was in such a vulnerable/hopeless state.

Robert Miles – Children Lyrics 16 years ago
This song is about how children view the world. The simple catchy tune represents the simple yet somewhat attractive view of the world that children have. It is open to interpretation and does not have all the facts, thus we are left to make up the lyrics for ouselves as children are left to make up the meaning of what is around them for themselves. It is about imagination, simplicity and beauty. It is nothing complex, and can be understood by those who are willing to listen. A very enjoyable song.

Basshunter – Every Morning Lyrics 16 years ago
Wow this song sounds so different from all the other Basshunter songs, it's such a refreshing thing to hear such different music from the same artist.

The Cranberries – Linger Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm pretty sure everyone is wrong about this song. It is clearly about the stench left lingering by someone after using the toilet. Obviously the other person involved was unable to deal with such a horrible smell.

The line "You got me wrapped around your finger" Is obviously referring to toilet paper, used to try and clean up the mess that is mentioned in the line "But I'm in so deep"

"I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong, but I was wrong"

We all know what happens when things go horribly wrong on the toilet and this song just sums them up so well.

Fauxliage – Without You Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song is about a relationship break up due to the guy wanting someone else more... She has no choice but to get away from the situation but is still grateful for their time together.
I really like it because the tone suits the theme so well and Leigh Nash has an amazing voice!.

Electric Six – Pleasing Interlude No. 2 Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song is about a girls reaction to eating. It emphasises the girls preference for a narrow range of acceptable temperatures of consumables.

The Rasmus – In The Shadows Lyrics 18 years ago
I congratulate anyone who actually manages to get through the last 5 pages, its taken me all afternoon (on and off).

Anyways this song came out years ago and I'm not sure why I decided to read what people thought it meant. I just want to make a comment that I think the Rasmus have a rather different sound to most of the other pop-rock bands out there.

They may have sold out to create that sound, or perhaps just decided to change. What amuses me the most about this song is it's ability to polarise opinions. Some people can't stand the song (or the band) while others think its great, most of my friends don't like the Rasmus at all, but I think that this song and the band deserve their place in musical history (even if it is rather poppy).
