honestly, i never really liked the DXC, until i heard this song. the friend who recommended this song to me said it was "emo", but i don't think so. i agree with simplethings18, its really about being grateful for being loved. for me, this line, "watching war made us immune", is really meaningful, and it applies to us right now. what happened to "world peace"? i never thought i would like DXC but this song changed my perception. it's such a lovely song! |

i guess the song is trying to tell people to treasure the small moments in life that really mould you to what you are, and not to take them for granted. for the horrible things that happened, to let go of it, and move on, but at the same time holding on to precious moments in life. i'm not really sure if i'm correct, but i LOVE this song! |

This song reminds me of the close relationship i had with my friend, "you used to talk to me like i was the only one around", which was exactly how it was like. over the years we drifted apart, and i really miss the days when we were best friends, and drifting away from this friend could just be my greatest regret in life. and i always ask myself "can we get this back? to how it used to be". i really miss this friend of mine! i love this song! |
