| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Tearjerker Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
did anyone think of shannon hoon from blind melon it would make sence seeing as the peppers and blind melon both preformed at woodstock 94 and guess what folks shannon was wearing his girlfriends dress.... I think it does discribe Kurt better and with the evidence of Anthoney's interviews it pretty well proven that its Cobain but, mabey Shannon ... Mabey. By the way if you haven't listened to blind melon they are amazing. If you like wicked lyrics and sick bass and guitar riffs buy a CD. and also if you want another song that is for Kurt, the song "sleeps with angels" by Neil young is great and without a doubt it is for Kurt keep on rocking in the free world, before its locked up |

| Richie Havens – Freedom Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this song was actually taken from a old folk song called motherless child and Richie added freedom to the entire song. He had to improvise at woodstock.....becuase he ran out of songs. He was encored several times and the 3 coolest parts of the woodstock footage is when he comes out on stage already playing but no sound is picked up because the microphone is far away, when everyone stands and claps their hands to his freedom lyrics and when you see him leave, he has sweat pouring off his back and it shows the effort he put into his preformance. Havens plays so hard he breaks a string and has to restring and retune before he contiues, pretty amazing stuff. He also played strawberry fields forever by the beatles and another amazing song called handsome johnny. I suggest you check it out for he is an amazing artist and by the way i think he was the first to play at woodstock. | |

| Neil Young – Broken Arrow Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I actualy read this in a book called "don't be denied" which is a bio on neil. it says he wrote this song for his bassist in his very old band. They were called the "squires". Neil felt bad because he needed to move on with his musical career and this left his old bassist behind. it says: Did you see him, did you see him? Did you see him in the river? He were there to wave to you. the waving part shows that the bassist knew neil have to move on and he supported him no matter what he did. "This is what i read in the book." and i think this a great song and i always listen to this when I put on some music |

| Lynyrd Skynyrd – Tuesday's Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song to me also goes along with what has been said before. But I just want to put this out there. could this be about him leaving his woman because she was with another man. " Well, when this train ends I'll try again" could say that he might try agian with her. I do not know this for sure but i always though of this song about him leaving his woman becuase he couldn't love her. And then this theory came up, its just a though. And even though Neil young is my fav artist i have to give props to skynard on a couple of song like freebird, tuesday's gone and simple man. But i hate sweet home alabama can't stand the song and can you say overated. | |

| Neil Young – Alabama Lyrics | 18 years ago |

this is about well like the title says it Alabama. As you know if your a real fan of Neil like me he is totally against racism. See the old folks tied in white ropes - im pretty sure these lines are about the kkk Your Cadillac has got a wheel in the ditch And a wheel on the track - these lines talks about how the white people were rich because of the black slaves |
