Simple Minds – Waterfront Lyrics 18 years ago
About a walk Jim took down the River Clyde, through the old dis-used shipyards. Wallking through big empty storage units, the noise of his feet echoed which gave him the idea for the pulsing bassline. One million years from today means that although the work has gone the river will still continue to run through the city.

Deacon Blue – Back Here In Beanoland Lyrics 18 years ago
Think Ricky wrote this about his hometown of Dundee. Dundee is where the comic "The Beano" was produced hence the Beanoland part. The line "Everyday they cross that great bridge, I watch those trains pull in and out" is about the Tay Bridge which takes trains across the Firth of Tay into Fife.
