I'm not positive on the meaning. Religious stigmata are marks on a believer identical to Jesus Christ (hands, feet, etc.). Overall I understand what might be a closer meaning to Christ? I'm not positive. I've seen these guys once and will see them again next month in Towson. I can't really see them as a religous band. There are two meanings for "spiritus" in Byzantine Greek orthography: "Siritus lenis" - Soft breathing "Spiritus asper" - Rough breathing. I'm lost. Any opinoins? |

I'm very happy to hear that "Jenovasson" has never had the unfortunate experiences that the vast majority of people today have had. Maybe songs like "My humps" - or any song with an off beat and entirely pointless lyrics - are more their style. As for the lyrics of this song, I believe that many people can relate to having trouble with letting go of somebody special. Unrequited love would be the best way of writing this, in my opinion. To me, this reminds me of my "First" girlfriend. Many of you may understand this, some may not. Either way, I first heard this song after several sleepless nights following a cocaine binge. "Insomniac" was the best title for this song, and as "Rainman" has already voiced, it is about moving on and becomming a stonger person. If more people could get over the screaming, I think that this could be a legitimate mainstream song. Most songs - today and in the past - have been written directly or indirectly about the topic of love and being heartbroken. Call it "Emo" - call me emo if you'd like - but this is a very well written and thought-out song. -Fuamantu |

This song is about somebody who gets involved in a lust-based relationship ("I'm taking back my sins"), yet still gets attatched"I'll take back the heart/I never should of let you in"), and more or less gets fucked over - (Probably more than once ,"I won't crawl back again"). I can't believe nobody's posted anything on this song, it's fucking amazing. Being the vocalist in my band, I appreciate the lyrical and musical nature of Bleeding Through. When we did a cover of this song it brought back fucking memories for me, and sent chils down my spine during one of our shows. I wish more people got over the scraming and actually listened to this band, I think they'd really like them. |
