one of my favorite modest mouse songs, i dunno what albulm it's on exactly, it came up as on this is a long drive, but it's not on my copy of it. still though, the grungy vinyl sound is fantastic, nothing makes me happier than old modest mouse. |

I agree with midwest, old Modest Mouse shines through at 3.20. And even though I like this albulm and I like Good News, nothing really beats old Modest Mouse. |

I know this has no lyrics, but I think this is an absolutely beautiful song. It reminds me of driving home late on a summer night, around 2 in the morning, when all the streetlights are green and you can hear the crickets chirping and the wind rushing outside. |

I miss my ex-boyfriend like crazy, and this song reminds me of it all the time. I hate that I don't know what he's doing or what he's thinking. Now when I see him, he's a stranger and it's really quite difficult to see. |

Well, my ex-bofriend gave me this albulm right before we broke up. When he left me, I listened to this song on repeat over and over, not very helpful to getting over him, hehe. Anyway, to me the line "you are the rock, you are the rake" meant that as the rake you helped me grow and live, but you were also a rock and you broke me. At any rate, this song still makes me cry, and it's really beautiful, as is this whole albulm. |
