Actually the song says ALPHA dog an OMEGAlomaniac on the Chorus.. ALPHA and OMEGA being the first and last letter of the greek aplhabet, and meaning (basically) from 'start to end', or 'everything', depending the context.. OMEGAlomaniac is obviously not a real word, but poetic licenses made artistic expressions so much fun than the literal meaning of the actual words by themselves.. So.. it's fun being smart, but it's fun to think every once in a while :D |

Just leaving some input about two parts of the song.. tell me if it makes sense.. The "I can almost see the wizard through the curtains" part is similar to the "We must make it hard to look so easy doing something so hard".. When magicians perform tricks they have mirrors and ropes behind the curtains.. but since we like to make things harder than they look, we put wizards behind the curtains to do things that a couple of wires and mirrors can do.. |

| I think this song was remixed only because the "Four to the floor" phrase. It makes reference to a type of techno/electronic rythm, where (as in almost all techno music) the kick drum hits four times per compas (floor refers to the time when the kick drum must be hit)... making a 4/4 rythm music. | |

This song is about his days back in Take That, lame songs, lotsa sex. He wants to get rid of all that, the only way to wash that big black past is through a Monsoon. The "Thank you for keeping me company, You've all been so nice to me" is obviously ironic. "What ShaPe (with a P) of insanity, keeps leading u back 2 me" (thou shade would have worked out alright also).. here he's saying: look at me! I'm not this boy band plastic person really ("I wasn't me when we met" also applies).. The rest is pretty much the same, or means sth like the "above said things" (?) Great song, btw... |
