i don't know about what blackballoon11 thinks but it would be pretty hard for janis joplin to record this song or anything for that matter in 1971. Considering she died in 1970 i'm going to have to disagree. |

My take on this is that as time passes they will die but the song will remain the same. Thus as long as people listen they are forever immortalized through their wonderful music. |

EmporerEzekeil maybe i mis read your comment but when you say that page contribute in other ways than just singing it makes me think you don't know anything about Zeppelin. Both Page and Plant contributed the most but Page didn't sing. And though Plant did write some lyrics Page wrote a lot of the earlier lyrics. So it seems that you need to take your own advice and not speak when you know nothing. |

Not that it hasn't been said but this song is amazing and any true Zeppelin fan knows it. People have been asking what "Tangerine" means and while I'm not entirely sure I put in my 2 cents. Not that its a name exactly but more of a nickname to symbolize someone. Let me know if you agree or not. |
