It does say "I'll be your saint,I'll be your man" which is pretty cool. I didnt like this song at first, but by the second listen of actually hearing the lyrics its awesome. Reminds me of some kind of untainted love, but I can see the summer connection. |

Cant believe I'm the first to comment. This song is awesome, AND if it is new rumored Green Day material or just a side project(We all know its Billie singing) its going to be great.Sounds like "old" GD which I love, that Cali-punkish sound.

To the song, its clearly about drug addiction.(The white on your nose is your secret to tell). I think its from the perspective of an old boyfriend seeing this girl again and trying to help her, wondering if he was just lied to during their entire relationship. Her innocence left with the drugs, perhaps if you want a sexual slant, she sells her body for drugs.

The song is pretty basic in its meaning-cutting. I think it sounds pretty good, and I normally dont get into more of the "Chrisitan-esq" bands. The singer has an amazing voice, and TWLOHA is such a great organization for cutting/suicide/depression. |

GreendayGirl1991 is right, the song is about being kicked out of Gilman ST. I even saw on some Green Day special(I think it was Driven) that the song is about getting kicked out due to being "sellouts".

Excellent song and it does remind me of the Smashing Pumpkins, although I dont think the band was aiming for that feel.
To me, the song means perhaps watching your love,whether or not they know you love them. Observing them, just watching them gives off a nice little feeling. For some reason, everytime I listen to this song though it reminds me more of someone losing their virginity. Quite ambigous, thats the way I like it :) |
