i love this guys voice and like a lot of other people on here have commented it does suit the movie very well. this song made me buy the album and i am glad i did. i like how the female narration in the movie was by the real sister, not just made up for the movie. very impressive music. |

This definitely deserves some recognition.... its every bit as good as "riptide" even though it is a bit different stylistically. The other four songs on his mini album are also excellent, especially emmylou... Just my ten cents. |

this is a massively underrated song on the new album. the guitar is amazing. at the end it is so crisp, reminds me of a dire straits solo in some respects. as to meanings, most likely about love and getting hurt... or as a metaphor, life is like a road and experiences change the path that road takes. even if he didn't sing at all i could listen to the guitar on this track by itself. |

dont know about this song giving me the energy to sing out loud and dance on rooftops, its more of a haunting style. beautifully written, the last few lines are delivered with a tortured air. mixture of piano and guitar is amazing. I think he's telling the girl not to play him... he's tried hard, she hasn't. he's telling her there's nothing to lose. you are mine, i am yours, lets not fuck around... one of the two best songs on the new album (the other being yellow brick road) |

to me it sounds as if the singer is talking to someone spoilt, they dont realise how good their life is, so they assume its bad. the singer could be saying, hey look around you, almost saying grow up. look how much worse it can be. this is particularly illustrated in the chorus, with the let me take you by the hadn and lead you through the streets of london... etc i doubt it would be aimed at a poor or struggling person, as it would illustrate that their lives are hopeless. just my ten cents, but it makes sense |

if anyone wants to find out some really good explanations of this song, and some really good opinions look up wonerwall by oasis on here... theres some good ideas there as for which ones better, theyre just different, most of my friends agree that the originals a lot better, personally, im sick of the original, but it was brilliant, and one of my all time fave songs, this is the sorta song i could listen to oevr and over then get sick of it and delete it off my mp3 player... its a great cover though, i like how different he's made it. its really somethign new and you could hardly recognise the original song... a great cover |

scrubs is awesome... ive got a lot of music from there. if you like this you might also like francis dunnery - good life, tahts a great song. another good one is nil lara fighting for my love :D thats my fave, its wicked. as to the meaning of this one, i would say that put simply its about the way everyone always hopes and sometimes its the only thing keeping them going. and sometimes the hope jsut isnt there maybe :S its a hard one to comment on really |
