| Def Leppard – Die Hard The Hunter Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| man, these guys were truly underrated, even though they were big... a little bit their fault for allowing the producer and engineer to become members of the band, but then again they probably wouldn't have gone as far without it. Kind of a blessing and a curse. The lyrics are very good though... kudo's to the wordsmith- very tight and cohesive. | |

| I think you guys may be missing the point a little bit in this instance... this is a little esoteric, but I think Tony is saying a hell of a lot more than Ozzy is on this song. The words are more filler than the riff is- the words are very familiar if you've listened to a lot of Ozzy... they sound like proto-lyrics for his later stuff, which I think they are. Just enjoy the killer heavy lick! | |

This song is also a cover made big by Naz, along with My White Bicycle. It was originally written by Joni Mitchell. Personally I think they knocked it out of the park. MUCH better version. I don't think the lyrics are inconsequential though. Probably about a long relationship that has it's problems but still has it's draw. Don't wanna stay, don't wanna leave. Just MHO. |

These lyrics aren't quite correct. 4th line 2nd verse is 'Then knock over his garbage bin'. 4th verse is: "Policeman shouts but I don't see him, They're one thing I don't believe in, He'll find some charge but it's not thievin'. And then first line last verse is 'Lampost hangs it's head in disgrace'. This song is also a cover. Originally written by a band called Tomorrow. I think it's meaning is 1 of 2 things... either it's about a guy tripping on acid and riding around in the middle of the nite, or about stealing a bike and acting like a punk. Probably just written as a silly inconsequential song about stealing a bicycle and acting like a punk, but still I love this song. Dan McCafferty's voice is just freakin' amazing and makes every song he sings seem potent. Nazareth is long past their zenith, but if you haven't checked all their stuff out, you're really missing some good music, including this great song. Plus, I listened to this song (and a lot of other Naz) in high school and now it brings back lots of memories. |
