No, she is not singing about the sell-outs. Flyleaf is far from being a sell-out kind of band. They do it for the music, not the fame. She is singing about how the world is a sick and messed up place, but just because the world is messed up, doesn't mean we have to be sick and messed up people. |

This song is about the wife of the lead singer to Trust Company. (Flyleaf toured with them at some point.) Layla, his wife, had a disease that kept her in bed for long periods of time, and when she was out of bed, she was so happy..just for that. She was so happy about something that we take for granted everyday. -Lacey said something like that in an interview. |
