| Static-X – Dirthouse Lyrics | 3 years ago |

One of my favorite and I'll still say to this day underrated X songs! I went ballistic when I heard them play this @ Starland Ballroom years ago and had no idea what they were going to play and as soon as I heard it I just knew GO GO GO! |

| Staind – Mudshovel Lyrics | 3 years ago |
|
I feel like I shoot back to 1999 whenever I hear this song.. This song was always a favorite for the hockey team. We probably all figured it was about a girl not knowing Aarron's issues as we were young but that didn't stop us from loving it. So hard and so sensitive at the same time! |
|
| Staind – Outside Lyrics | 3 years ago |
|
Just a beautiful song what else is there to say.... Sadly I don't think we'll ever get to hear voices like Aarron's and what he's been through, just glad to be part of one of the last generations of music that was so much at one time and enough for a lifetime! |

| A Perfect Circle – So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish Lyrics | 6 years ago |
|
I love the beginning it reminds me something like an Old Collective Soul song... the song seems to be a tribute to those who've recently passed, our heroes, some idols, and icons that touched our lives. I feel like the bit about Time being money and vice versa and the more "popular" luxuries of today distract us from the more beautiful things... and people truly do piss way too much money and time away on things that are only temporary fixes or fads. |

| A Perfect Circle – The Doomed Lyrics | 6 years ago |
|
As many above mention the connection with the "Trump Era" and the state of our country. "New Christ" aka The President of the US. Much like during the last album taking shots at the leader of the free world... Another evil rich tycoon getting empowered, with basically the same horde of followers or minions that will do anything for their fake god. He clearly goes on stating about the rich and the poor, no light for the poor, no hope, and that if you aren't in the "horde" which is probably the rich upper-class and politicians at his feet. Going on about how the rich are blessed and the poor serve them by working day in and day out, only for the richer to get rich and the poor and middle-class to stay the same.. simply a song of no hope. Perfect timing considering who was elected, as well as the last album's timing with eMotive. I felt eMotive was more straight and clearer regarding the hatred towards today's politics, Eat the Elephant is beautiful and I love how it's not too intentional or as noticeable.. but take it the way you will. I will always wonder if the Hiatus timing with Obama in office if they would have stayed "political" or what... but love it regardless. |

| Incubus – A Certain Shade of Green Lyrics | 7 years ago |
| @[pooleyacht:29121] I think you hit it in the head! Wasn't the Mayan Calander the one that said the world would end in 2012? Heck there was even a movie with John Cusack regarding it I think. But none the less, this song was written in 1997 (SCIENCE)... so I definitely think it makes sense, it's not like they randomly picked a year 15 years later... I've always loved this album, I think it was a little before it's time as I really got into Incubus in high school (99-03). I've always loved them, Vitamin and Favorite Things are my two other favorites on this album. | |

| Puscifer – The Remedy Lyrics | 7 years ago |
| @[Gfyic:28278] Whether he "wrote" them or not what he did with them was amazing.. is it really necessary to call someone an idiot over the computer for something so silly... meh well if it makes you feel better about yourself... I feel bad for you otherwise! | |
| Puscifer – The Remedy Lyrics | 7 years ago |

This is probably my favorite song off Money Shot, being more of an APC fan I love everything Maynard does and this song stands out a bit to me off this album which I really like as well. Keenan's lyrics can be interpreted so many different ways, and nobody's opinion or feelings or beliefs are wrong which is why I love all of Maynard's music. Carina Round is amazing on this track. I at first thought that it was a him vs her thing, but being Maynard I feel it is honestly just more of how spoiled how the youth of today and younger generations just act and believe that they know everything. Everyone today is a master of everything (thanks to the internet and the time we live in). People with little to no experience in regards to ANY trade, subject, skills, etc... are just masters and know more than their elders. We deal with it everyday, being in my late 30s, having 15+ years of experience in my job field... now we have children with little to no experience popping out of nowhere, with YouTube on-the-go educations trying to tell their superiors, colleagues, elders, and so forth how and why things need to be done... basically a bunch of children telling the adults how to do their jobs out of nowhere. I'm probably absolutely wrong, but that's how I feel... I don't know if the song is a back and forth between the two, one side being the elders or ones who will be delivering the stitches and the "remedy". As for the "haters" and "isolators" I guess that is a 2-way street and where it gets confusing.... all I know is that I'd hope or at least believe that the majority of listeners feel similar and when it comes to the "You speak like you've never been knocked the F out..." is so absolutely in regards to the senior majority, the veterans of their fields and the ones who have lived through whatever, put their time in, and not only know what they are talking about, but know what they are doing.... versus some rookies (children to be honest) that pop out of college, or literally never went to college and just come into your place of work. Whether it's work, school, a sport, whatever the case... we all know that there are way too many individuals out there who need to be put in their place.... there is just so much cockiness and sense of false pride that needs to be dropped by the younger generation. Everyone just feels like they automatically out-reign everyone they come in contact with. Being 35 I'm not necessarily old, I'm not bitter, but this song certainly sounds like what I'd love to say or do to someone who has maybe 3-4 years experience to my 15+. Do not tell me how to do my job because you watched a damned YouTube video 5 minutes ago in the bathroom and are now a "know it all". 35 sadly isn't even that old, but compared to 24-25 year olds who have little to no experience, yeah they need a "remedy".... and that's just how I feel, which is why I love Maynard and literally everything he does. |

| Limp Bizkit – Shark Attack Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| Classic Freddy D... singing about that Shark Attack.... love LB 4 life! | |
| Linkin Park – One Step Closer Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| i think this was the first linkin park song i ever heard, it was probably playing on 92.3 krock when i heard it, i quickly looked the band up and loved them! i was a freshmen-sophomore in high school i don't remember exactly, but this song has a fast paced rock that you have to love... it's a shame we don't have a decent radio station to hear new songs from new bands anymore in our area, this song will always be one of my favorite from lp. | |
| Linkin Park – Crawling [Album Version] Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| one of my favorite linkin park songs. that 1st album was pretty huge to everyone when we were young in high school, and even though we were all attracted to the harder songs on the cd Crawling was definitely a change of pace that was nice to hear. everyone who has ever had self control issues, battles with anything, or is just scared to move forward can relate to this song! | |
| Chevelle – Forfeit Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Awesome song, love the instrumentals. Funny meaning if it's about mosh pits, I have met some of the finest human beings in mosh pits... it's all about rock metal and love! | |
| Rock 'n' Roll Soldiers – Funny Little Feeling Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| MVP Baseball.... awesome song! | |
| Deftones – MX Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| definitely a sick song about violence whether it's sexual or not it's definitely about love and how it can turn to hate. gotta love a loud song that's violent yet not the typical angered voice tone. | |
| Fear Factory – Designing the Enemy Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
sick song love the "all you are... i have made..." classic ff! i'd assume the song refers to our country's enemies and how we basically created them by the way we are in general and how they loathe the idea of not just our freedom but excessive lifestyle. |

| Green Day – Welcome to Paradise Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Either jail or the recording studio (station). Very sarcastic song and I love it! | |
| Hole – Nobody's Daughter Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Great comeback. Song sounds like they never stopped recording after they finished Live Through This. | |
| Hole – Violet Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| One of my favorite songs growing up playing ice hockey. As a dude I knew early that chicks can rock as hard as guys... if not harder how much considering I listened to this song and this album when it came out. Totally could pump you up for a game and still can! | |
| The Kills – Cheap and Cheerful Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I heard this song in NHL 09 I believe and never really listened to it till now after playing again. Absolutely think it is a drug reference... right off the bat first lines stating "cheap and cheerful" seems how we act when sober for awhile. "expensive sadness" yeah well all bad habits are expensive ways that leave us sad. "hospital bills", "parole", more bad things people experience with those habits. But the song takes that positive beat and says "it's alright". Listened to a couple songs and saw similar references by this band before posting, awesome song.. still learning about the band! | |
| Killswitch Engage – Eye of the Storm Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| You are never alone. Sounds like there is someone he is willing to do anything for, and if he slips or stumbles he will not give up. | |
| Killswitch Engage – The End of Heartache Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Loved this song ever since I 1st heard it at the end of the Resident Evil II movie. Such smooth lyrics and his voice is awesome! Totally have had my heart broken before, and I don't believe that the heartache ever ends, no matter how much you try to move on, who you meet, some girls just can't be replaced. I feel like I am still waiting for someone who has hurt me... |
|
| Limp Bizkit – Douche Bag Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| oh freddy d has a whole lot to say.... classic lb yeahhhhhhh! | |
| Limp Bizkit – Let Me Down Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
and that’s what wrong that’s what i get for feeling this To me I take it as a relationship that wasn't meant to be, possibly warned about, solid LB song, even if Fred goofs it up by making noises, you can still get the meaning... how someone or something (drug) can make you feel and mess you up and let you down. i’d like to thank you for lettin’ me know i can feel this way |

| A Perfect Circle – The Outsider (Resident Renholder Mix) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Love this remix so much, heard it during a movie preview for the movie RE4 which I was always looking forward to as a fan of the RE games and movies. Realized it was APC's Outsider remixed whom is obviously 1 of my favorite bands so 1+1=win... the movie was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. The song besides the lyrics reminded me a lot of Manson's theme music for the first/second RE movies which he did such an awesome job on. Just dark tunes that can slowly build up your adrenaline and mood. Personally the original Outsider is a stand alone classic and I don't think this could beat it by any means. |
|
| Ashes Divide – The Stone Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Also really love that last riff at the end is so just letting us all know APC is still alive! | |
| Ashes Divide – The Stone Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Love this song... makes me believe in one's recovery, and pretending by using so things do not change, but we can change, and that is what makes us survivors.... | |
| Rev Theory – Voices Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| This song gets me extremely pumped up in a different way than most heavy songs, it brings out the "sick" side everyone hides and lets anyone who gets in your way know they are in for trouble. | |
| The Kinks – Set Me Free Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| wow only 1 comment? this song is beautiful, i love it! | |
| Alice in Chains – Rooster Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Love this song in the new Terminator movie... pops on the radio in the jeep and the kids have no idea what it is. The older guy said it was something his brother used to listen to back in the 90's.... mhmmm yeah they don't sing em like this anymore. | |
| Alice in Chains – Take Her Out Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I like the stripper/hooker approach... "Only guarantee, Continue after I am done" When he's done with her and gone, she'll continue with someone else... | |
| The Prodigy – Warrior's Dance Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| love the vocals! | |
| The Prodigy – Omen Lyrics | 15 years ago |

| Great song. Love this stuff! | |
| Lostprophets – Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| loved this song in high school back in 02-03 that we had to use it for warmups before games all season. unfortunately this band went a little soft after this album. i loved this album it was so original sounding, now most of their stuff sounds like any band really. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – Lights in the Sky Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Musicals just remind me of the Day the World Went Away for some reason... like a continuation with lyrics. I don't know, maybe not. Just seems to me like a song about being by one you love while they suffer, like you can't help them even when you try. | |
| Insane Clown Posse – Bugz on My Nutz Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| awesome song... pretty much they like dirty broads hahah! | |
| Lostprophets – Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Their best song ever. It's a shame they went emo.. but hey I guess that's a solid fanbase for record sales! | |
| Ashes Divide – Defamed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I feel the song is simply about someone who either loves someone and feels that that person is or has tried to change to be what is wanted from them, but just can't because of those around them who won't allow it, and now they are either apologizing but it may be too late... Great song no matter what! |
|
| Metallica – The Day That Never Comes Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| So good it definitely helps you forget about St.Mistaker! | |
| Velvet Revolver – The Last Fight Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Song's intro always reminds me of the old NES Game Little Nemo's music. Great song as well. | |
| Static-X – Dirthouse Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| not sure of the meaning or if there is even really is one, but this song has one of the sweetest beats i've ever heard, even if you don't listen to the lyrics the instruments are all amazing and put together very well! | |
| Three 6 Mafia – Let's Plan A Robbery Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| ouch. i don't hate rap, but this is ABSOLUTELY the WORST song out of all genres put together. this song isn't ghetto it is just plain out retarded, i honestly can't name 1 worse song that i've ever heard. | |
| Soul Asylum – Somebody To Shove Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| awesome song! it still gets played on the radio a lot here, definetly a song about a guy who is alone and depressed and takes an optimistic approach and just wants someone, probably a girl that he likes or dated to come back to him, possibly even just push him around a bit. | |
| A Perfect Circle – Yesterday's Today Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| not a perfect circle, same group as the 13 minutes song, probably a band member trying to get some recognition by trying to trick apc fans into listening to their bands songs, nice try. | |
| The Offspring – Gotta Get Away Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
life is LIKE a riddle and i'm really stumped, forgot the LIKE up there, it's a great line too. this song just seems like blaming yourself, possibly also blaming your friends as well, maybe nothing seems to be going right. Great song we've all been there. |
|
