| Cunninlynguists – The Gates (feat. Tonedeff) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I feel this song is about a man who is greeted at the gates of heaven and isn't allowed in for his racist beliefs. It's more of a metaphor for hypocrisy than anything in my mind. |

| Cannibal Corpse – Blunt Force Castration Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"Inactive SHE crushed the testicles fast Disintegrate SHE cut off the penis last" I'm going to assume the songs about a girl smashing the balls. I'm just throwing this out there, but could it be about getting brutally used by a girl, and feeling ALOT less of a man because of it? Like unrecoverably less a man? |

| Cannibal Corpse – Addicted To Vaginal Skin Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think it could still very well be about Ed Gein. Yes, the line: "My spirit returned from the dead Released by the priest but I felt more real when I was dead" Doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the song, but I'm wondering if that's Gein's own perspective on how the people he dug up felt. That might be a stretch, but the rest of the song indicates Gein, or a Gein like fetishist. |

That makes sense, but I'm going to add something. It appears to me, that it's from the investigators perspective. Being broken down by the case, and breaking the suspects, and getting nowhere. (New movie based on this case) |

| Dragonlord – Revelations Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The song seems essentially about a dragon rising from a long slumber and causing an apocalypse on all human life. But I'm kind of curious if anyone feels there's a reference to the book of revelations in the song. |

| Thin Lizzy – Emerald Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Does anyone get the feeling this song is partly about the bad side of a violent revolution? The part about "Where children will never play again" kinda gives me that feeling. |

| Blue Öyster Cult – The Marshall Plan Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is awesome. The whole story going from the ground up. Everything. The Guitar is pretty sweet, and like minihats said, that breakdown with the Smoke on the Water riff is awesome. | |
| John Butler Trio – Treat Yo Mama Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Ya, the meaning is pretty much right there. I LOVE the version off the "What You Want" EP. the country folk version. But the Sunrise over Sea version rocks hard too. |

| John Butler Trio – Company Sin Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think the aborigional point is correct, but it also strikes on the intrusion of any of us into ancient land. Whether it's building highways over North American Native burial grounds, or digging mines into Australia Aborigional burial sites, it's the same sentiment. | |
