Extra question:

4. How did this album become so popular over the years?

You're right

Faith No More – Pristina Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this song is about someone who is going to look out for someone even though she (hence the title) is dead. It speaks to me all the time.

It's fairly straightfoward. This track was most of the reason why AMLOR was PF's worst release.

Others say that AMLOR is a David Gilmour solo album under the name of Pink Floyd.

In my opinion, an overrated hit, like On The Turning Away

Even if I could hear the echo... I could call this song "Fearless Echoes".

Bad joke, I know

"Going crazy on drums" is obviously the reason why this part is called ENTERTAINMENT

The Extreme song entitled 'Warheads' is about war and it includes this song's title in its lyrics:

"Ramboy, it's US AND THEM
just like your daddy in Vietnam"

Part 2 is the hit single!

Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics 19 years ago
So what's the punchline? HA! That's a good one!

I would like to inform you about the album:

Waiting For The Punchline only sold 3 copies on its first week. Afterwards, it has never been sold again. It is gone to make way for grunge releases from grunge bands like Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains.

You give it 3.5/5 stars. I give it over 5/5 stars. It's excellent but not as good as There Is No God.

Warchild? What's that?

Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics 19 years ago
How can we beat Wish You Were Here? By the time we get to 313 comments, that song might have 557 comments! (Just a guess)

If you go over to Green Day, their song (American Idiot, that is) has got over 2000 comments in 2 years!!!! It came out in 2004! What a joke!

Alice in Chains – Swing On This Lyrics 19 years ago
This seems to be the most fast-paced song on Jar of Flies. It's not as good as No Excuses, though.

There is an Extreme song that takes 21 mins and 38 secs.

It's on their third album: III Sides To Every Story. That side is The Truth. The other two are Yours and Mine.

There are three parts in that song. Part 1 is called Rise And Shine. Part 2 is called Am I Ever Gonna Change? And Part 3 is called Who Cares?

There is a bookend in that song as well: At the beginning and end of the song, there is the sound of a jukebox playing.

I think this is the part with Nick Mason's wife playing the flute... or was that on the other 2?

How long would this song take if there wasn't a fade out and how would it end?

Pink Floyd – Seamus Lyrics 19 years ago
By the way, of course you haven't heard of Extreme. They were a very overlooked band, which broke up in 1996.

Their final album (Waiting For The Punchline) was their worst work, and that's how they broke up. In my opinion, it's their best work! They were popular for their hit single (Overrated, I call it) More Than Words.

My mother loves that song. But I say (As a review to the album Pornograffitti on Amazon.com said), FORGET ABOUT THIS OVERRATED HIT AND LISTEN TO THE NON-HITS!!!

Pink Floyd – Terminal Frost Lyrics 19 years ago
Does anyone seem to notice that every Pink Floyd instrumental has to have something spoken in the background? The only thing I could make out on this one is: "Never again!"

Pink Floyd – Money Lyrics 19 years ago
Sometimes, I wonder if the album (Dark Side Of The Moon) teaches us a valuable lesson. Eclipse is my main source here. Everything we do is actually meaningless. We don't really mean to do it, it just happens. Death happens all the time, War and Racism happens all the time, insanity happens all the time. Everything just happens.

At the end of Eclipse, a voice says:

"There is no Dark Side of the Moon, really. Matter a fact, it's all dark."

The real voice says:

"There is no Dark Side of the Moon, really. Matter a fact, it's all dark. The only think that makes it look light is the sun."

That voice wasn't recorded, wasn't it?

Pink Floyd – Eclipse Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is a clever ending to an album... what with the lyrics and everything, meaning that whatever you do, it just becomes twisted and insane.

That's very clever. I can't make a song or album that's as good as that.

I just noticed a bookend in the album Pornograffitti:

At the beginning of Decadence Dance and at the end of this track, there is the sound of a thunderstorm.

Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics 19 years ago
Hmmm... 44 minutes, eh? So, Echoes is starting to grow out of you, eh?

I know a song that takes 1 hour and 11 minutes, but I forgot what the song is called.

I would say There Is No God (Extreme) would be my number one favourite track of all time... love the distorted guitar work on it!

submissions
Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics 19 years ago
Well, now that I mention it... There is another bonus track that I find amazing (It's a proper song, very unlike that crazy bonus track) on Extreme's final album: Waiting For The Punchline. The song is called Waiting For The Punchline. It has great music and great lyrics. I just love the chorus:

"Why did the chicken go across the road?
To get to the other side.
I'm still Waiting For The Punchline.
And whoever says the grass always grows greener on the other lied?
I'm still Waiting For The Punchline."

Six minutes of amazing guitar work, and not to mention bass work!

I've stopped listening to it. I'm trying to get back into Echoes now... along with other stuff that I've forgot by the band. I'm trying to not listen to the track today. I'm not mad either. I just go with the flow when I listen to it. Well... when I last listened to it, I didn't get mad. So I might just stay relaxed when I next listen to it... or should I listen to that track and then Echoes straight afterwards?

Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics 19 years ago
I listened to the bonus track today... I was still getting mad. My brother caught me listening to it. I was very embarrassed.
