Yeah. Some people are definitely over analysing the introduction. It's just setting the scene. I for one can definitely relate to that situation. She's described as "dispondent" but then her life is forced into perspective by the plane crashing. When it comes down to it, every person has to face death at some point and there's nothing left to do but take it. It doesn't matter who you were in life, the same fate awaits us all. This seems to be a concept he portrays in a lot of his songs. This notion could be percieved as depressing but it's really very refreshing and honest. |

I was wasted one night & I listned to this song over & over again. It suddenly went from just being "that catchy Skins song" to being an amazing song that's as if it's actually written about me. One of those songs where every word rings true. I've been going through a tought time, recently & have found a solitude in alcohol. It became my escape from reality as it stood in the way of control. Which is temporarily good but then fucks you up when you eventually start thinking again. It was my survival tac tic. Then, I feel out of control & my "back's against the wall" There's nooneone home to call; My mum's been out alot, recently.. with new boyfriend. Basically, I could analyse every single line, Especially "You're forgetting who you are" For me, it's all about the struggle of not giving in to dependenies. |

This song completly reminds me of my first love. Who, If I'm honest, I'm still in love with now. I was so Dosed by him & I felt I got under the outside layer that people keep around themselves. I think possibly the canyon referance is just that a canyon is something you can fall deeply into. & Once you're in there, Everyone can tell you've fallen. He always loved RHCP & After we broke up I cam across this song & it took on a whole new meaning. I don't know for sure, But I'm pretty sure this song isn't literally about drugs, Just the feeling of being so badly in love. |

What the song's about is pretty self explanatory. Although, I like to think that he is in love with Rosey Lee, & That's why he cares. They did this live, acoustically in the audience. Was amazing. Great band. |
